     Lin-Manuel wins the coveted Pulitzer Prize for his musical “HAMILTON” on Broadway in the category of Drama. This Puerto Rican born, New York raised Tony award, Grammy award winning genius is an inspiration! In 2008 his musical “In The Heights” earned a Tony Award, but not before the over 7 years of creating it commenced. Known as a rapper, actor, and poet, Lin-Manuel uses his culture, street and Latin, to influence his works.

     His 2015 production of “HAMILTON”, which he wrote the Book, The Music, and the Play is a not so modern not so olden tale of one of the founding fathers of the US, Alexander Hamilton. Amongst hatred, being HAMILTON is one of the only plays on Broadway and in its history to largely feature people of colour, winning Pulitzers certainly puts things into perspective. Pulitzer’s twitter page announced his amazing win;
