Growth Is Everything!

K. Michelle recently sat with The Shade Room during her exclusive Jack Daniels shoot to discuss her leaving, for good this time, love and hip hop atlanta. The singer-songwriter blushed about her being the first Afrikan American with an endorsement by Jack Daniels and the first person ever to have a signature drink with them. Afterwards, K Michelle answered the question many were wondering. Did she really quit mid-season of Love and Hiphop Atlanta, and will she be returning, to our surprise, she won’t be, and here’s why.

K. Michelle sites the film “The Birth Of A Nation” by Nate Parker, the reason she left mid-taping LHHATL. K says;

“….No, I saw the movie birth of a nation and……..i ended up seeing this movie and I was sitting there….watching this movie, I lost my mind, I felt so bad about my behavior, we allways have to grow, but to see what my people went through, and to see me fighting with some girls over what they said about me………its not even worth it I immediately stopped filming. ……You have to take a stand” [truncated]

Grow is amazing, especially when you can show all of you courageously. How many of us can say we can do this? Probably not many, but time and time again we see K. Michelle grow into what God has wanted for her since she was born. It’s amazing to see.
