Zimmerman, Found NOT GUILTY ON ALL ACCOUNTS!!!!!

There are no words to explain my sadness tonight. There is so much anger and confusion in my heart, and in the hearts of many people in the United States of America. Tonight, a known killer was found NOT GUILTY on manslaughter, and 2nd degree murder after 170928867openly killing an unarmed 17 year old, innocent Brown boy, Trayvon Martin. There is much to be said, and much to be done. After a year of fighting, protesting, and coming together to represent an injustice, the system has won again. Tonight the world bleeds Brown for the unfortunate outcome of the murder of Trayvon Martin.

Afrikan Americans have fought for justice in the United States since we were forcefully brought here to be slaves from Afrika. The many terrible things that happened to our ancestors and our Great Grand Parents has forged a separation in US. History that will medical-examiner-trayvon-martin-lived-in-pain-for-up-to-10-minutestake an unseen amount of years to repair. Tonight, years of slow reparation has been set back so far that we fear the worse for many. We must all pray and stay strong and continue to keep the conversation going, added with some protests, and testimony a difference can be achieved.

Tonight, as the killer walks free from following an innocent young Brown boy with nothing but skittles and a soda can in his hands, pursuing him shouting “these ass holes always get away”, we pray for him, we hope for the best, but we all secretly wish this killer will meet his match.

In times of need we have to remember that God has a plan, and he will make it right! It will take time, but this rage that I am feeling, that we are feeling is one that cannot be ignored. How would you feel if your teenage son was pursued, beat, defended himself, but was ultimately killed, for walking down the street with a hoodie on?

Something must be done! We are fleeting and THEY are continuing to win. We must force ourselves to get rid of the WILLIE LYNCH syndrome and make a difference in the world, so big that change is inevitable, until then, keep hope alive, stay fast in prayer, and continue to be just who we are BROWN LEADERS ARTISTICALLY CULTIVATING KNOWLEDGE!!!!!
