Ever since Jazmine Sullivan popped back on the scene this summer she has been releasing quality, powerful music and performances featuring groundbreaking lyrics that we’ve come to expect from the songstress.
Jazmine’s first release this year, “Dumb” featuring Meek Mill, can be purchased on iTunes. “Dumb” set the tone for her upcoming project “Reality Show”, titled due to her minor obsession with reality tv, metaphoric to her personal life.
We then get another surprise from Jazmine as she heads over to a Barber Shop in New Orleans to sing her new song; “Stupid Girls” with NPR, an anthem for girls and women to be much smarter than love allows them to be at times….check out the video below.

“Boys have toys too
you know they do
they call us STUPID GIRLs
they call us STUPID GIRLs
And when you love em’ like I do you’ll be a fool
you’ll be a STUPID GIRL
you’ll be a STUPID GIRL”
It takes a powerhouse lyricist and singer to brave a room full of men and sing the truth and Jazmine did it so effortlessly. After she exposed her soul she was greeted with applause and smiles, hopefully the message was received at the barber shop for men to do better, and for women to be smarter.
