GRAMMYS: The 2015 Grammy Nominations ARE IN! @TheGrammys See WHO’S NOMINATED LOOK:

It looks like the 2015 Grammy Awards are piping up to be something magnificent! With surprising, yet well deserving nominations from veterans like Ledisi, Toni Braxton & BabyFace and Erica Campbell, and new comers like the talented Luke James, Aloe Blacc, and Lecrae hopefully this coming Grammys represents true talent. Last years disappointing show resulted in many top categories, that featured mostly Afrikan Americans, not being televised. And there was an obvious lack of…colour that hit the stage to perform. Hopefully that tragedy will change this year! It seems like this will be the year for veteran rapper/producer Pharrell Williams with multiple nominations, surely he will win at least…two! Ha! I’m excited, aren’t you? Let me know if you agree with the predictions below,

UPDATE: 2.8.15

Though I hoped for the best, yet again Afrikan Americans were counted out. Most of the categories featuring coloured people were not televised yet again, but of course R&B performance, I’m guessing due to the Queen being there, Beyonce, which was great, but disappointing as it became clear she was going to win, which is probably the only reason they televised it. The Grammy awards is suppose to show artistic excellence and reward that, however, they don’t and they show millions watching who truly represents music, and often times, its not us. When do we fight against it? How do we fight against it?
