Whao!!!! Now This was a surprise!
Tisha Campbell, best known as Gina from the hit sitcom “Martin” has released a hot single! Tisha known for singing on the show “Martin”, having a charting music career in the 90s, releasing a music video with Tichina Arnold “Don’t Ask My Neighbor“, & attending her hometowns prestigious school, the first performing arts high school in the nation; Arts High School, in Newark Nj is a bonafide singer. Tisha is also well known for starring in Spike Lee’s musical movie “School Daze” where she got to truly show off her voice, dancing, and talent! Her powerhouse voice, and high register has always been a defining trait for the Tisha Campbell brand, and now “Steel Here” is a dope addition to what’s to come.
“Steel Here” produced by vocalist extraordinaire B. Slade is a mid-tempo record that is sultry, yet modern. The production is very bassy which works perfectly for Tisha’s high register voice which sits nicely in the middle of the dope cut offs, snare hits, and special FX . The record and cover art gives off a futuristic sound, but with soul, and progressive full harmonies with a groove that is still R&B take a listen:
Apparently She’s already shooting the music video for a fully produced album by B. Slade!!

I can absolutely see a music video to this, some great dancing, sex appeal, with a futuristic approach. The lyrics are strong enough for you to not only groove to it, but appreciate the thought put into words instead of a meaningless nothing, it gives you a bit of encouragement “…I’m steel here…” a play on words, steel, hard-strong, I’m steel here…im hard here, i will not wither away…beautiful! Tisha is on fire, catch her in a new sitcom this fall more here: SimplyTisha.com
