NBC is gearing up for a live broadcast of The Wiz. I am the biggest Wiz fan of all time! Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Ted Ross, Nipsey Russell, Lena Horne, and Richard Pryor and a list of many other stars created the cult classic remake of The Wizard of Oz. Now, NBC has a whole new cast, some original broadway stars, and a fresh face the world has yet to see, Shanice Williams. After NBC searched high and low they found this beauty to star in the coveted role of Dorothy. This will be NBCs first time ever broadcasting a live musical, the stakes are high, but from the looks of things, it’s going to be amazing LOOK:
