The Body Of A Goddess

     Serena Williams covers SELF Magazine’s September Issue and inside she talks global body influence. Serena Williams has one of the greatest bodies in tennis, and entertainment. A long life of tennis, working out, eating well and loving ones self will give you the body of a Goddess, like Serena Williams. Often criticized for looking “too masculine” Serena deals with a lot of body shaming, even though her’s is a work of art, but the Queen does not care.

Serena;

‘I love my body, and I would never change anything about it…..I’m not asking you to like my body. I’m just asking you to let me be me. Because I’m going to influence a girl who does look like me, and I want her to feel good about herself.’

And I couldn’t agree more. It’s important for little girls of colour to see positive images of women that look like them, and having Serena Williams as #BodyGoals as a child, can be greatly effective! Salute Serena! For more on her cover story CLICK HERE.
