American Idol Winner Candice Glover Releases New Single “Captured” A New R&B Vibe

American Idol winner, Candice Glover releases her new single “Captured” via soundcloud. It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Candice. The 2013 winner of American idol wowed the world with her vocal control, vocal runs, and sheer power. Since Candice released her debut CD “Music Speaks” which charted number three on the R&B charts in 2014.

Lately Candice has been performing all over the world, and the US updating her fans via social media. It was then that TheBLACKMedia reached out for an interview, in which we are still waiting to hear back, but she responded as she does with most of her fans via Facebook and that interview should be happening this year!

It was Facebook live where Candice announced her new single “Captured” a song she had for a while, but never released questioning if people would enjoy it or not, after listening, I say, it’s a great record and right in tune with the times, yet still very much Candice with explosive vocal runs and beautiful vocal lows. Considering the track and what we’re used to hearing from Candice, what with it’s hiphop vibes and trap elements, its a new R&B vibe for Candice, and we like it!
