A Family Affair

The Smollett Family are back on television this time with “Smollett Eats” a cooking show helmed by Jake Smollett the family cook. The show will feature the entire family including EMPIRE’s superstar Jussie Smollett and the amazingly talented dramatic actress Jurnee Smollett who stars in “Underground” on WGN.

Before Jussie became EMPIRE’s breakout star, he and his brother had a cooking show on Youtube, I used to watch as Ive been a fan of the entire family since their 20 episode sitcom “On Our Own” back in 94. Yes I was only 4 years old, but like Raven Symone I knew I wanted to be an actor, I just didn’t have her success. I followed their career’s ever since and Jurnee became one of my favorite, but I’ve always longed to see them all together and all successful and now I will. Its great to see Jussie and Jurnee so grounded even though their success in Hollywood has been so massive and they all started out together. Family comes first and once your dream has been made, its your duty to help your families dreams come true…
