She’s Back! Listen To LeToya Luckett’s New Single “Back 2 Life” Is R&B Butta [Video Preview]

December 5th 2016 Letoya Luckett released her latest single; “Back 2 Life”. Prior to its release Letoya, in 2014 announced she’d be releasing an album “Until Then” in 2016 on The Wendy Williams Show. Having released a few songs via Youtube, fans were concerned about the album.

“Back 2 Life” serves as the first single release from the upcoming album “Until Then” which is slated to be released in 2017. The “Dionne” actress, who’s starring as Dionne Warwick in her upcoming biopic has been racking up the acting jobs; “Single Ladies”, “Ballers”, and most recently appearing on “Rosewood”.

Keeping with what made her famous, this former Destiny’s Child member borrowed a classic from the British R&B group Soul II Soul; “Back To Life (However Do You Want It), which is sampled during the chorus of her new record.

Letoya’s “Back 2 Life” is R&B butta, sweet, smooth, but in the pocket. A double meaning, something new listeners and long time fans will enjoy, she even released what appears to be a theatrical music video a teaser that leaves a lot to the imagination. Letoya herself is back to life, in music.
