History Is Made. ..Literally.
The US Mint and Treasury whose job is to create, mint, coins with our symbols and ideals specific to the United States revealed their latest coin in celebration to the 225th anniversary. That’s right, a BLACK Lady Liberty!! How awesome is that? They call it the American Liberty High Relief Gold Coin, and for generations when children look at the coin, they will see an image of Amerikkka, they will see beauty in Black features, and that is tear worthy.

The US Mint department says the coin will be on sale later this year! You can visit their website to check for prices on other coins, and to purchase this one once its released HERE.

CBS Reports;
It is the first in a series of 24-karat gold coins that will feature designs representing Lady Liberty as Asian-American, Hispanic-American and Indian-American. The coins will be issued every two years.
