Queen Latifah, and Jada Pinkett are back together on the big screen! “Girls Trip” directed by Malcom D. Lee (The Best Man), chronicles four friends who let life get in the way of their friendship and decide to rekindle what was by going to the Essence Music Festival, which no one has ever made a film about. Its the largest Black Festival in Amerikkka.
Everyone who’s seen the private screening, longer clips, and even the director himself says Tiffany Haddish stole the show. Tiffany, known for being a comedian plays the party animal friend in “Girls Trip”, and from the clip below this may be her break out role.
We last saw Queen and Jada together on the big screen in “Set It Off” now the two have a different group of friends, and no body dies, so far as we know. This time we get to see Queen and Jada laughing, joking, and enjoying life vs stealing and shooting with Regina Hall at the center of it all as the friend who keeps everything together.
It’s one thing to have Tiffany, a known comedian in the movie, but Regina Hall’s comedic timing is unbelievable so you know this film is going to be hilarious. All four women are skilled in comedy, acting, and drama, just wait till you see the clip!
