The 2017 NAACP Image Awards Red Carpet & Winners A Night Full Of Black Excellence




B.L.A.C.K Excellence


Saturday February 11th the 2017 NAACP Image awards aired live on TVONE. The night was full of Black excellence in entertainment. The night was a somber night as it was the same night five years ago that the world lost Whitney Houston. Though the latter its true, Whitney’s spirit soared throughout the night as we recognized our own doing exceptional things in film, television, and music.

The night was full of surprises. Beyonce took home five awards, Black-ish swept the night, along with Moonlight, Empire, and Power. It was a beautiful night of celebration, check out the full list of winners, and the beautiful red carpet photos below.
