Why Kelly Rowland’s Debut Book; “Whoa Baby…” Is A Must For Expecting Mommies

WHOAA BABY!

Kelly Rowland’s Whoa, Baby!: A Guide for New Moms Who Feel Overwhelmed and Freaked Out (And Wonder What the #*@& Just Happened), addresses all those: the–baby-is-here, now-what- concerns. Collaborating with her OBGYN, Tristan Emily Bickman, to bring us this guide for motherhood. Keeping it real and dissecting the not so appealing details of the parenting experience; hormones, breast pumps, and hygiene changes. Whoa Baby covers what happens spiritually, emotionally and physically, once the baby is out of the womb and under your roof.

Most expecting mommies are overly prepared when the bun’s in the oven. There’s not a book they don’t read, an app they don’t use, advice they don’t take and a gadget they won’t add to their registry. Now April 11th they can add this new book!

Kelly Rowland Updates ESSENCE On New BOOK & More:

Serves them right, no?  The time when women are carrying their child or children (because the time of the twins is real! Ask both her besties: Ciara and Beyonce) is equally nerve racking as it is beautiful. Families can never be too prepared during the nesting stage. They’re stepping into the role of their life, as Mom and Dad, and it’s definitely not something to be taken lightly.

But have you noticed all the great advice reads focus more on the pregnancy stage than they do in how to deal with after the bun is out? Kelly Rowland pulled from her own experiences with her now 2-year-old son, Titan. Kelly Rowland herself was frightened by what a baby had done to her body, mind and emotions. She wants to comfort other mothers on this journey of love and adapting.

The book is due to release on March 28, 2017 and will be published by Da Capo Lifelong Books.
