Jazmine Sullivan posted via Instagram that she was featured in artist Niia’s new video “Sideline”. FADER grabbed the exclusive, and fans were ecstatic to see and hear something new from Jazmine. It’s been a while, but Jazmine vocals will forever carry her to new heights.

Jazmine Sullivan’s last project Grammy nominated “Reality Show” was released in 2015. After a huge hiatus prior to her last album, any time Jazmine releases music, even if she’s just featured, her fans are over the moon! “Sideline” is right up Jazmine’s alley way, she tells FADER;

“Anywhere there’s authenticity and drama I’m all in”

This music video was directed by Sasha Samsonova and it features the two artist strutting and giving strong vocals while telling their story. It was when Jazmine Sullivan popped up with that fur coat and diva strut that sent the video to the next level. Not to mention Jazmine’s riffing intro was absolutely shock worthy leaving goosebumps along your arm. This song, these vocals, this video, fans need more from Jazmine, but this is a great teaser for what we can expect coming from her self titled album slated to be released this year.

You may remember Niia from the Wyclef Jean song “Sweetest Girl”. A powerful voice, she’s inspired by Black arts and culture and you can hear it in the strength of her voice. Sideline is amazing!
