Keke Wyatt took to instagram June 24th to announce she is “going bald” to support her child who’s now bald due to their battle with cancer. Keke enlisted the help of her brother Keever to cut her hair, who did a fantastic job! Many had no idea her child was battling cancer. Leading a private life, Keke thought it’d be best if her supporters sent prayers to heal her child, so she went public.

During the live video Keke Wyatt made it clear she was scared, and not really wanting, but that her child wasn’t either and she Mothered up and did it for her baby. The singer just announced a few months ago that she was expecting her 9th child. One of the most prolific and powerhouse singers of all time, the video wasn’t easy to watch, but inspiring.

Keke Wyatt Shaves Her Hair:

TheBLACKMedia tried to capture screen grabs, moments of the initial cut, below are pictures, and a message from Keke Wyatt about this moment. Even though Keke is public about the shaving and the illness, she’s keeping quiet about which one of her children has cancer.

One of the most lighthearted parts of this live capture was when her son said; “Mommy you’re cutting your hair?”, Keke answered, “yes”. Her son then followed up with “Your real hair?!”. How beautiful!?

She even thanked Jazmine Sullivan for making “Mona Lisa” which helped Keke get through postpardom depression. Keke said she wanted to kill herself before she heard that song.
