Ledisi’s latest music video is from her 2017 debut single “High” off her upcoming album “Let Love Rule”. Known for adding special elements in her music videos, Ledisi literally defied gravity in this one. Going with the literal interpretation of “High” and the metaphorical one, the video floats the cast. As the cast is suspended in air, Ledisi swoons us with the vocals.
Even though the video featured amazing break dancers we weren’t exactly able to see Ledisi give us those snapping dance moves similar to her Black Girls Rock performance, but we do get to see her hit a quick two step. Somehow the video made me love the song even more. Dressed in a beautiful purple wrap dress, Ledisi is High on love.
