August 25 2001 the world lost R&B singer, and actress Aaliyah. 16 Years later, the world still mourns, and remembers her beautiful, grace, talent, and poise. Actress Tiffany Evans (Promise Ring) posted a flash back video (2013) of a tribute she practiced and performed to “Try Again” the 2000 hit record.
Tiffany Evans performed some of the iconic dance moves to “Try Again” as Aaliyah did in the video. An uncanny resemblance to the late R&B singer, Tiffany was always deemed the next Aaliyah. Considering Tiffany and Aaliyah have two completely different vocal tones and abilities, they each bring their own uniqueness to music. However, Tiffany absolutely looks like Aaliyah in this video.
If ever another Aaliyah story comes out, Tiffany is the one to hire! Tiffany Evans released some great records in 2016 like “On Sight” featuring Fetty Wap. Still acting, auditioning, and singing, this young mother of two got next!
This tribute, and worldwide remembrance comes just one day after Mac announced the Mac Aaliyah collection! After over two years of petition signing, pressing, and figuring it out, its finally happening! Rest With Jesus Aaliyah. The Original Video Has Been Made Private However The Other ThrowBack Aaliyah Tribute Is Still Viewable Below.
This isn’t the first time Tiffany has performed to an Aaliyah record. Here’s another flash back friday with Tiffany and choreographer Sean Bankhead dancing to “Hot Life Fire”:
