Football Player Turned Actor Bernie Casey Dies Known For Revenge Of The Nerds

Bernie Casey died September 19th 2017 from an illness not made public. The Football player turned actor is remembered by starring in iconic films like “Im Gonna Git You Sucka!” and the “Revenge of The Nerds” series. A staple in cult films, Bernie was that familiar face that made you say “oh yea, that’s the guy from…”.

Bernie passed at a young 78 years old. As one of the few to successfully migrate from pro-football player to actor, Bernie Casey was drafted in the San Francisco 49ers. Bernie went on to star in many films and tv shows like; “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine”, and “Cleopatra Jones” before making his iconic role as U.N. Jefferson in the now cult classic series “Revenge Of The Nerds”.
