In 2016 Michael was chosen as one of the new faces for the Polo S Game Changers Piaget watch company. Michael being the only Afrikan American face, it was important to see this, and it still is.
When actors or performers of colour, especially Men get endorsement deals or ad placements it’s often with sneakers, food or alcohol. Michael being a young Black Actor in the crowd of many white faces in the ad shows young Black boys that high end establishments aren’t exclusive to white faces. Furthermore it’s important to see Michael supporting new talent like Kevin Ross adding his record; “Don’t Forget About Me” has many wondering, who’s Kevin Ross. Amazing Right?!
