He’s so presidential! Recently Barack Obama announced the ‘Obama Foundation Summit’ a gathering of the minds in Chicago. In an effort to restore hope and activism in this country between all races, Barack and his team continues their mission. The Barack Obama mission, which still stands for today; to believe you have the ability to produce change! This summit will do just that.
The Obama Foundation is all about change, and empowering us to activate our ability, with that in mind the ‘Obama Foundation Summit’ allows you to submit yourself to be considered for the event! Submissions end September 27th 7pm est, so you have 6 days as of today. It’s one thing to expect your leader to fix all of your issues (which is impossible by the way) it’s another for your leader to inspire to you lead with them. Barack Obama does just that.
While many have issues with the way he ran office, and his unifying message which often appears to leave people of colour in a cyclical state of low priority, TheBLACKMedia see’s differently. We see the coded messages that calls for our helping hand to get the job done, and if we heed that call, true change for the betterment of our race will happen. This is why he’s still my President! Catch the title of the video “President Obama Announces….” even the org knows the truth. Ha!
“On October 31st and November 1st, the Obama Foundation will welcome civic leaders from around Chicago, the U.S., and the world to join us for a two-day immersive event in Chicago. During this inaugural Summit, hundreds of leaders from around the world will come together to exchange ideas, explore creative solutions to common problems, and experience civic art, technology, and music from around the world.”
