Fantasia set to release released Christmas After Midnight, her very first holiday album. A powerful soul singer, we’ve heard Fantasia sing songs about Jesus, but never in the vain of a Christmas album. The album was released on October 6th just before the holiday’s so you can learn all the words, and get ready to blast it during Thanksgiving, and of course Xmas.
Christmas After Midnight is a holiday ode to Fantasia’s grandmother. When last we heard from Fantasia she released a stellar album “The Definition Of..”. With the pre-orders available and exclusive merch and packages available via Pledge Now, this newly independent artist is all set to give us holiday classics.
Fantasia On Christmas After Midnight;
“I’m so excited for my first [Xmas] album…[Christmas] After Midnight! This album pays homage to my grandmother and is a gift from me to all of those who remember their grandparents or parents putting up Christmas trees and being a blessing into people’s lives. It also pays homage to the great singers like Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra and Ray Charles who stood strong in what they believed in – the music. I hope that it blesses you guys.”
“Grammy Award and third season American Idol winner, Fantasia returns this fall with the release of Christmas After Midnight. Produced by Ron Fair, the 12-track album features covers of holiday favorites including “This [Christmas],” “Silent Night,” “Have Yourself A Merry Little [Christmas],” “Santa Claus Go Straight To The Ghetto,”and “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” which features vocals from CeeLo Green.”
