Angela Bassett is set to star in Ryan Murphy’s new FOX Drama 9-1-1. The first official trailer premiered during game 3 of the World Series and even though the series is just starting production, FOX is rolling the show out fast. Considering Ryan and Angela has worked together before with American Horror Story, they are a great fit. Even though the trailer shows her for only a second, her role is top billing.

Oliver Stark (“Into The Badlands”), Aisha Hinds (“Shots Fired,” “Underground”), Kenneth Choi (“The People v. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story”) and Rockmond Dunbar (“Prison Break,” “The Path”) have been cast in series regular roles. The series will premiere in 2018.
