After reuniting, a successful docu-series, and a current sold out tour, the mega girl group of the 90s is back with new music! Xscape Dream Killa and Wifed Up are two new singles released on iTunes, but they do not feature group member Kandi Buruss. During the Xscape Still Kickin It docu-series, Bravo, at the end of the final episode made sure viewers knew, Kandi was not interested in recording new music with the group. Either way, Kandi supports the group, and the music issa bop!
It’s been almost 20 years since Xscape released new music. The singles Dream Killa, and Wifed Up are modern day R&B records with that Xscape sound. Even though the records are what we know from Xscape, not having Kandi is bittersweet. Dream Killa will be a fan favorite, as it’s the most similar record out of the two that reminds you of that good sanging and Xscape sound. Wifed Up will be a fun record to perform and to bop to while driving to work to encourage. Xscape is truly back and here to stay, and their voices never sounded better.
