Watch Oprah Winfrey Deliver The Most Powerful Speech Of 2018 At The Golden Globes

Oprah Winfrey was the 2018 recipient of the Cecil B. Mille award at the Golden Globes making her the first Black Woman to receive it. During her tribute, many faces were in tears, in awe, and in agreement. Only Oprah could capture a crowd, inspire, teach, and uplift the underserved but well deserved in one speech. Oprah Winfrey delivered the greatest and most important speech of 2018.

Only Oprah Winfrey can receive an honor and make her honor about the people, the world, equality, and convince everyone of the truth, which is, we are all more alike than we are different. During her eloquent speech, Oprah spoke on Women equality, sexual harassment, jim crow, unspoken Sheros, and she inspired everyone to look within. Ending the speech with one of the greatest motivators letting white men in power know, #TIMESUP No more abuse, harassment, and inequality for women, and for people of colour. It’s a must see, I’m sure college professors will be playing this video come Monday morning.

Oprah Speech Quotes:

Oprah On The Press; “I want to say I value the press more than ever before as we try to navigate these complicated times Which brings me to this: What I know for sure is that speaking your truth is the most powerful tool we all have. I’m especially proud and inspired by all the woman who felt strong enough and empowered enough to speak up and share their personal stories.”

Oprah On Sexual Harassment; “This year, we became the story. But it’s not just a story affecting the entertainment industry, it’s one that transcenceds any culture, or workplace.”

Oprah Calls Unity For All; “I want all the girls watching to know a new day is on the horizon. And when that new day finally dawns, it will be because of a lot of magnificent women, many of whom are right here in this room tonight, and some pretty phenomenal men, fighting hard to make sure they are the leaders to take us to the time where nobody has to say ‘me too’ again.”
