En Vogue released their music video for their 2017 record Rocket exclusively on Essence. After En Vogue split in the early 2000s Rhona Bennett joined the group and has been with them on and off since 2003. The group now consists of Terry Ellis, who remained in the group throughout, Cindy Heron, who left and returned, and Bennett who joined, left, joined again, left, and returned. It’s a lot to understand, but the music, style, and grace, is all the same.
Rocket is a #BlackGirlMagic showing of youthfulness, class, grace, and vocals. Written by Ne-Yo, Rocket is a perfect blend of modern and En Vogue realness. At 54, 56, and 41 years old, these women haven’t aged a bit! It’s no wonder this music video is out of this world!
