Halle Berry took to Instagram to express her views on the current sexual harassment accusations of talent manager Vincent Cirrincione, by nine women of colour, who helped Halle Berry, and Taraji P. Henson to stardom.
The 9 accusers made it clear there was no rape involved, but that Cirrincione used Halle Berry’s success to lure them into what some account as inappropriate sexual advances. Vincent Cirrincione, who’s known for helping women of colour in Hollywood denies using his success for sexual favor, but agrees he had affairs which were consensual, while he was in a committed relationship.
Halle Berry expresses her disdain for the news;
“Yesterday I was saddened by the allegations against my former manager, Vincent Cirrincione, but today I’m sick after reading the horrifying detailed accounts his his abuse towards 9 women. I’m livid that he used me, and the role model he helped me become, to lure and manipulate innocent, vulnerable women of colour for his predatory actions. I’m deeply hurt and I want these women and countless others to know I see you. I hear you. You matter. I will fight for you.”
