New Single: Azealia Banks Anna Wintour A Rap Tsunami House Bop

Azealia Banks released Anna Wintour, a new single off her upcoming summer album Fantasea II: The Second Wave, which gives an ode to the Vogue fashion editor by the same name.

Todrick Hall New Single Feat. RuPual

Anna Wintour debuted on Ebro’s Apple Music podcast and it’s already feeling like that classic house that the world has come to love Azealia for. Azealia Banks is serving up slick, cunning bars, power vocals, and long phrases of true musicianship that we seldom hear in music now-a-days.

Anna Wintour is going to be that new wave you’ll see in films, tv shows, and commercials, it has that cross-over appeal.

The song even references a sample from her 2015 record “Ice Princess” with the shouts saying; “so lucky you”, which may very well be an Anna Wintour reference considering this record has been worked on for years. Either way, this new single is the kind of bop we need from Azealia Banks, it’s a lasting mood for sure!

Azealia says her album Fantasea II will not be comprised of all house-like records, however, the launch of this record was important as it speaks to her core. With her new million dollar contract with EOne Azealia Banks is ready for the music industry again, at large, and with hot records like Anna Wintour with unmatched bars/lyrics like no other in the industry, she, yet again, is the one to watch.
