Unlike her last viral single “Sausage”, which was a culmination of old school hiphop vibes, this single is an original track from Lil Mama, about Lil Mama’s style, and flow. Being one of the most overlooked MC’s in Hiphop Lil Mama delivered bars as usual, but this time listeners can hear a less aggressive Lil Mama and a more fun, chill Lil Mama.
“Shoe Game” is clearly a song created so that you can dance to it, like P. Diddy, Lil Mama has always added dance elements in her music and videos, and “Shoe Game” is a song that deserves a good 1, 2 step.
With Diddy, Lil Mama, and many southern rappers making Hiphop music you can dance to, but not just shake your bum to, dance in hiphop is making a huge return. The fans want something they can follow along to or get off a quick Harlem shake to, and Lil Mama is giving the women something to stunt on with “Shoe Game”.
