LeBron James’s school I Promise finally opens to a heart felt speech, show of support, and viral awareness supporting Akron Ohio’s at risk youth.
The school, which was renovated in part by the LeBron James Family Foundation and Akron, is a public school open to anyone in the district. Even though schools had been closing down in Akron, and in order for schools to prosper so must the neighborhood, LeBron and Akron are committed to making sure this school not only inspires, but stays open forever.
“big dreams for the kids in Akron to give them everything they could need to find their passion, give back to our community and change the world!! This school is that. The people are that. Akron is that. @LJFamFoundation we’ve always done it big”
