Cardi B released a new single titled “Money” a song not from her debut number one album “Invasion Of Privacy”, but from a new project. Even though “Invasion Of Privacy” was released April of 2018, just five months ago, Cardi is known for releasing new music often.
“Money” is a fantastic follow up to her last single “Ring” featuring Kehlani, and it’s the first solo single we’ve heard from Cardi after giving birth to Kulture. Kulture is even mentioned in the song as the chorus rings; “But nothing in this world that I love more than Kulture”.
Even though fans and critics have been complaining about the overused rap cadence Cardi, and many other continue to use in their music, Cardi had a few flow changes in “Money”, which made the song more enjoyable.
It’s also rare that rappers now-a-days go bar for bar on a track. Typically rappers do one verse and repeat everything else, but Cardi, all alone, did a complete bar for bar record. Very impressive.
