Wendy Williams stopped by the Dr. OZ show to talk about her Hunter Foundation, and BE HERE, which supports drug addicts to healthier lives, and K2 is apart of that epidemic. Unfortunately the CDC and governing parties can’t keep up with the production and selling of K2 and its effecting too many.

K2 is a synthetic marijuana that uses various herbs and a harmful chemical sprayed on them to mimic the feeling of “high” when you smoke weed. Since 2014 the government has warned states about this drug, but its 2018 and the FDA is still warning many.

DrugAbuse.gov says;

“Synthetic cannabinoids are human-made mind-altering chemicals that are either sprayed on dried, shredded plant material so they can be smoked or sold as liquids to be vaporized and inhaled in e-cigarettes and other devices. These products are also known as herbal or liquid incense.”

“The U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued a warning statement on July 19, 2018 about numerous health emergencies, mostly in midwestern states, caused by consumption of synthetic cannabinoid products laced with brodifacoum, an anticoagulant (blood-thinning) compound commonly used in rat poison. Hundreds of users of synthetic cannabinoid products typically sold in gas stations and convenience stores under various brand names such as “K2” and “Spice” have been treated for complications such as bleeding, and several people have died. Users of these products should be alert for bleeding and other symptoms like easy bruising, oozing gums, and nosebleeds and seek medical attention if they suspect they may have consumed contaminated drugs. Brodifacoum remains in the body a long time and can raise bleeding risk for weeks after consumption.”

Wendy Williams, who has a history with cocaine addiction, said he cried after visiting a hospital through her foundation and interviewed a boy who was the son of a Woman she knew. The boy used K2 (spice) and was hospitalized for it. K2 aka “cheap weed”, can be found at gas stations and various corner stores, and will make the consumer zombie-like, bleed excessively, temporary amnesia, prolonged sickness, and even die if consumed.

Stop kids from consuming K2! It’s becoming increasingly popular with teens and middle schoolers who think doing drugs is cool.
