Long time friends Tisha Campbell and Tichina Arnold will host the 2018 Soul Train Awards, which was previously hosted by Erykah Badu. Tisha and Tichina came into prominence as a duo when they starred as best friends on the hit tv show MARTIN.
Pam and Gina as we’ve come to call the two, are hilarious together, and their chemistry is magnetic! The two have put out songs together, sang together live, and will now host the Soul Train awards together. Match made!
Erykah Badu, instead of hosting again, will be receiving the Legend Award. Well deserved, as Erykah is still one of the only Neo-Soul artist able to sustain a career in various forms, with the Lady of Soul award going to Faith Evans, also deserved.
