Tiffany Evans released a new single titled; “Switch Up” Nov 9th 2018 after hinting to fans via Instagram Live to expect new music this year. Not only did Tiffany Evans deliver on the hint, she delivered musically, which isn’t surprising for the “Promise Ring” singer.
Tiffany Evans gained national success with her hit single “Promise Ring” in 2007 featuring Ciara. Since Tiffany has released acclaimed singles, EP’s, music videos, and most recently a viral feature on T-Pain’s record; “Textin’ My Ex”.
It’s been almost three full years since we’ve heard new music from the vocal slayer. The last project “All Me” was released in 2015, producing the single “On Sight” featuring Fetty Wap.
Hopefully “Switch Up” is the start of more music. “Switch Up” is an R&B record with strong hiphop elements, which works well with Tiffany’s brand as a dancer. The song is worthy of the club, blasting in your car, and women for sure will enjoy the lyrics. Available on iTunes, Spotify, Youtube, etc.
Recently Tiffany Evans opened up about how her ex husband, dancer, Lorenzo Henderson, father of her two children, physically, emotionally, and mentally abused her. She mentioned having black eyes and busted lips and extreme embarrassment.
Tiffany posted a photo of what appeared to be either bullet holes or fist holes in the wall which she says happened the day she posted it. This all came before the release of her new single; “Switch Up”, which lyrically indicates a new attitude, and moving on.
Hopefully that’s exactly what she does, and gets the legal (and mental) help she needs to avoid any further abuse.
"Broke up with my n*** yesterday/he kept acting up so you know I couldn't stay/and I'm really to pretty just to be in second place/hope he know that this the last time he'll ever cancel me/ he never answer calls/he always left me home/and I just let em' do it/he thought I was stupid/but this aint what he want/fuck that oh/ hold up/what's popping/can we roll up/in the lobby/fuck it I just wanna get lit/on some real shit/let me show you how I switch up on em' real quick/"
