Listen: Alicia Keys “Raise A Man” New Single — A Soulful Nostalgic Vibe

Alicia Keys released a new single, a soulful vibe that she surprised her fans with titled; “Raise A Man”. No word on if it’s an official release or not, but it’s a needed record that speaks to the quality of a man and raising a boy into a man.

Debut Single “BLACK WOMAN” By Taystee from OITNB

“Raise A Man” is a nostalgic vibe reminiscent of Alicia’s earlier years in music. The lyrics ask vulnerable questions like; “Is it okay that I’m not independent? Is it okay that I show weakness? Is it okay to can’t wait to see you? Is it okay to love a man right now?” something that Black Women often struggle with asking, and Black Men often struggle with answering.

It’s a brilliant record, a vibe;

"I just dropped something for y’all! I was in the studio and I wanted to VIBEEEEE out! My friends were there, my Gen was there!! The energy just felt so right in the room that I wanted to share it with y’all. Can you feel me!??? Check out the video vibes" - Alicia Keys, IG.
