Melyssa Ford returns to the cast of Hollywood Unlocked Uncensored podcast after recovering from a car incident that left her skull fractured. July 2018 Melyssa Ford’s truck was clipped by an 18 wheeler that made her car flip, her head hit pavement, crack her skull and left her severely injured.

Melyssa left Hollywood Unlocked before the car incident for undisclosed reasons and after heading to a baby shower ended in a terrible accident that left her hospitalized, no insurance, in debt, and not knowing if she would be alive. Melyssa recalls having brain surgery having a fractured skull, a brain bleed, and having issues with her faculties.
Melyssa is fully recovered but suffered from depression, and even thoughts of suicide. Melyssa, not in a quality state of mind posted to Instagram that she wanted to “end things”. Her friends came to her rescue and stopped what could’ve been the end of Melyssa the Curve Queen forever. Because of her friends, and regaining through physical therapy her faculties, Melyssa is back and doing better.
Melyssa is known for being a wordsmith, realtor, and one of the first super star video vixens, but it was when she lost her ability to articulate herself that Melyssa felt powerless.
Returning to Hollywood Unlocked Melyssa hopes to regain her security, show us her progress in recovery, and to continue giving her fan base a reason to stay. During her hospital stay a Go Fund me was created by friend Claudia Jordan which Melyssa was against at first. After much convincing, the Go Fund Me helped Melyssa with bills and everyday costs as she recovered because she was out of work.
Melyssa has always been a beacon of hope for many Black Women as one of the few video vixens who was educated, and well kept. Melyssa never promoted promiscuity, she always promoted intelligence, financial gain, getting what you deserve and nothing less. Being back on Hollywood Unlocked will hopefully continue to inspire many women and men to elevate themselves and live with class.
