Prince himself executive produced her second and most successful album; “The Unexpected” (2014) of which he co-wrote the title track. After several televised performances on Jimmy Fallon, and the then reboot of Arsenio Hall, many wondered who is this larger than life vocally gifted Queen?
Liv performed her album all over the nation before taking, what seemed like a hiatus after Prince passed in 2016. Liv Warfield’s fans on social media constantly asked for new music, and now it’s here!
“Mantra” is a Rock and Soul deep look into self realization, and the tough realization of how the people around you play a role in your life. The record is a good haunting. Liv’s wails throughout the song pierces your inner ear right down to your soul and you just…get it!
“Mantra” was well worth the wait! Ryan Waters and LiV Warfield created the record together. Ryan, Liv’s long time friend, is also featured in the visually impressive music video giving us the too cool for school guitar hits, and electricity we needed. Brilliance!
