Reggie ‘RedMan’ Noble is a Newark Nj native and continues to, not only represent Newark, but show us that where you come from is not your destination. Gearing up to release the long awaited “Muddy Waters Too” album, Redman thought his EP “3 Joints” was a great way to start off 2020.
“3 Joints” has three joints (singles) on the EP, and based on Redman’s love of smoking weed is also a reference to the colloquial name for marijuana, which he can be seen smoking in “Slap Da Shit Outcha”.
“Slap Da Shit Outcha” is a boom bat hiphop record that speaks to being tired of people always draining you instead of filling you up. In 2020, let us all cut off the people who do not fill our cups, but have no issue draining them. Amen?
