Janet Jackson “Black Diamond” New Album & Tour Announced!

Janet Jackson announced a new album, and tour; “Black Diamond”, which is slated to be released this 2020. For the last few years, Janet, while promoting her hit single “Made For Now” was asked if she’d release new music and often said; “I don’t know”.

After speculation, Janet finally, from her “lips”, expressed to fans via social media that she’s decided to not only release a new album, but go on a world tour under the moniker “Black Diamond. Janet’s last album “Unbreakable” was released five years ago, and fans are hungry for more.

Janet Jackson penned a letter to fans about her new album, and why she chose “Black Diamond” as the title.

Janet’s Letter;

“Hey U Guys! I’ve heard all your wishes and now from my lips to your ears. I’m working on my new album and going on a brand new World Tour this summer! Both titled ✨ “Black Diamond”. ✨

Black Diamonds are the toughest of all the diamonds, the hardest to cut. I see that as the hardest to hurt or destroy. There is a lot that I have endured. I see myself as a Black Diamond in its purest form. I’m a rock, I have ruff edges but I keep moving forward. I want to show you my strength as well as give you strength.
