Real estate investor Jessica Myers, is not new to the hotel owning business. Last year (2020) Jessica purchased a Home2 Suites By Hilton, and now she can add a Hampton Inn (Scottsburg, IN), and Staybridge Suites (Indianapolis, IN) to the mix.
Jessica Myers is one of the youngest Black hotel owners in the country. In 2020 she made major headlines purchasing a major chain hotel in El Reno, Oklahoma. Less than a year later Jessica, in partnership with Nassau Investments, and Jack Thomas of Jetway Financial, closed on a 19 million dollar deal with the purchase of these two new hotels. Jessica, who’s only in her early 30s, is on a mission to show Black people, and Black Women in particular, that real estate investing is plausible for the average person.
“Most people believe in order to invest you have to have an incredible amount of money, but the reality is…you don’t.”
Jessica and a team of some of her most successful peers have developed and released a podcast that gives free information on how you too can become a successful entrepreneur. The podcast; All Things Entrepreneur (A.T.E Experience), features several Black business owners giving otherwise expensive information, absolutely free to each listener.
Jessica debuted the purchase of her two new hotels at her A.T.E Experience Launch event, which was held at the historic Derek Automotive, which is the first Black Owned electric vehicle tech show room. Steve Branch, a managing partner of Derek Automotive (pictured above) made an appearance, and spoke briefly, but powerfully of the importance of working together to make history. It was truly a night of Black Excellence. The crowd was full of Black entrepreneurs, friends, family, even Favor Friday’s owner Candace Christina was there accepting gifts for toys-for-tots. It was a high society event of the year.
Everyone on the cast of the A.T.E Experience podcast had something powerful to say. The cast: Shawna Bennett, Seon John, Errol Allen, Monique Williams, John Stafford, and Jessica Myers all took turns breathing life into the enamored audience.
Shawna and Seon are a Black Love dynamic duo who run several successful multi-million dollar business’s together. Shawna has impressive wit, and an unapologetic motivation of wealth building. Seon, is a well tempered, loving partner who unabashedly puts God first in every brilliant idea he brings to life. Errol, affectionately known as the new kid on the block, is the youngest of the bunch, but a highly successful, proud workaholic eager to live the way he sees fit. Monique, better known as Mo Hustle, is a brick by brick hustler who recently had a historic closing of her own. John Stafford, also known as the grind guy, is a hyper active, in your face, go getter who enjoys a laugh, and is unafraid to grind for what he wants even if he fails a few times. And Jessica, an active force who not only carries a powerful word in manifestation, and believing in your dreams, is smart as a whip and keeps a good numerical breakdown in her back pocket. Together, they’ve created a powerful source of free information that could ultimately help “rid many Black people of corporate dependence” (Jessica Myers).
The A.T.E Experience was a great way for Jessica to announce her new acquisition amongst friends, family, and like-minds. Not everyone understands the historic nature of Jessica’s success, but crowding herself around people who love, support, and wish to learn from her is a great way to help little dream dreamers, see that there is no dream too big.
We love to see it! The A.T.E Experience has released episodes one and two of their podcast, with a new podcast every Thursday. For more information please visit the links below.
