Aliah Sheffield is like a modern day folk singer-songwriter that speaks to our rhythm and blues, and her latest single; “I Don’t Like People” is the perfect example of that.
Aliah’s new single; “I Don’t Like People”, from her Def Jam debut EP; “These Are Songs For Anyone Sick Of Earth”, is more than a song, it’s the truth we often keep to ourselves.
Inspired by an article that quotes Whoopi Goldberg saying; “I don’t want somebody in my house” in response to marriage, Aliah states she wrote this song right after reading that article written in 2016.
The music video for “I Don’t Like People” will be released September 20th, making it her third music video since being signed to Def Jam. The “Earth Is Ghetto” Star is slowly, but strongly making her mark in music.
Aliah Sheffield is Music’s Next Sensation.
“I don’t like people all up in my house. Nothing against you, but you can get out. You’ve served your purpose and now you can leave.” Aliah’s simplistically powerful storytelling is unmatched in today’s music industry, and the latter shows not only Aliah’s comedic edge, but her complete seriousness in a common experience.
