The film stars Chris Rock as the funniest man in the world trying to reinvent himself as a serious actor. In the midst of a televised planning of a wedding with Gabrielle Unions character, Erica Long, a real housewife-esk reality star, Chris Rocks Character, Andre Allen agrees to be interviewed by the beautiful, witty, intellect, Rosario Dawson who plays; Chelsea Brown.

Production started for this film summer 2013 titled; Finally Famous. It premiered September 2014 at the Toronto International Film festival. With a 6 million dollar budget the film received a limited release which will happen December 5th, and on December 12th a wide release. Hopefully this proves yet again that we can sell out theaters as Afrikan entertainers. Surely this film will make over 20 million dollars, putting great money into the pockets of each deserving actor, producer, writer, director etc….
