Grammy award winning, multiplatinum recording artist, coined “vocal bible” and one of my favorites, Brandy Norwood is set to start for 8 weeks as the coveted Roxie Hart in the classic musical “Chicago” starting April 28th!!! Just when I decide to leave NJ, my heart, Brandy, is on Broadway……Now if money wasn’t an option I’d be front row, backstage, all up in it! However, you can go, check it out and experience what I know will be a phenomenal performance by Brandy, as she’s been training for this role for months.

Brandy is the first Afrikan American actress to debut on Broadway as Roxie Hart in Chicago. In the past, Queen Michelle Williams starred as Roxie after first completing a short run at the coveted West End theatre in the same role. Brandy, known for her crisp vocal acrobatics and deep tone will surely be a shoe-in for a Tony Award. Having starred as the first Afrikan Cinderella, musicals aren’t new to Brandy however she did tell Vanity Fair;
