[NEW BOOK] “Mixed Me” Taye Diggs Wants Son To Embrace Being Bi-Racial, As He Should LOOK:

Taye Diggs has Black Twitter going off, but are they wrong….

Black Twitter, must relax! Heartless blogs have a way of headlining the false just to get folk to click, and writing the “not so truthful truth” about stories and situations. In an interview
with THE GRIO Taye Diggs, answering questions asked to him, says he wants his son to embrace being bi-racial. He never said anything about denying his Black side, or only embracing his white side. In short Taye Diggs is correct in his feelings. He talks about growing up a darker skinned Afrikan American which inspired his first book “Chocolate Me” and how he didn’t want his son to feel he had to choose. In an effort to fix a possible issue his bi-racial son could go through, he rather teach his son to consider himself mixed/bi-racial then just Black or just White;

‘[Mixed Me] is kind of along similar lines for my son, even though in this day and age he’s going to have less of an issue being mixed than I did. It’s a book of self love and self appreciation and knowing that you are special regardless of what people will say about you because people will always say stuff.’

SB: Shame on BET for this terrible headline; “Taye Diggs Fears People Will See His Son As Black…” what in the world…WATCH INTERVIEW he never says that….

“I want to know, that He knows, He knows who he is”

The interviewer is the one who brought up President Obama and Taye Diggs joined in with similar thoughts, however he did not compare himself to Obama, as some blogs report. We must stop degrading our own and shaming people who fall in love with the opposite race.

‘I don’t want my son to be in a situation where he calls himself Black and everyone thinks he has a Black mom and a Black dad, and then they see a white mother, they wonder, ‘oh, what’s going on?’
