If It Wasn’t Clear Before, It Should Be Now…

Jada Pinkett Smith has been under a microscope lately after releasing a controversial video about The Oscars, and people of colour taking back our power and finding value in our own. Fans, haters, enemies, idiots and more all had something to say about Jada’s video, even Janet Hubert whom we all know as Aunt Viv, the dark Brown skin Aunt Viv from “The Fresh Prince Of Bell Air”. Jada was spotted and ET asked her a few questions to clear somethings up. Aside from Jada snapping her fingers at the poor nervous girl, which I thought was extremely pompous, classless and careless on her part, I still love Jada and what she actually said in reference to what’s happening surrounding her video, was perfect! WATCH:

“…And Here’s the deal, you know this whole Oscars controversy isn’t really about the Oscars but really in my plea to ask all communities of people of colour to take back our power so that we can use it in all sectors of our community…”

  1. I don’t think Jada was pompous at all, if you are in that industry you have to be able to get your questions out in a manner that demands a response. It was a learning opportunity for her.

  2. No one deserves to be snapped at…I love Jada, but that snapping belittles people, you don’t think she could’ve handled that in a better manner? There are many ways to learn and teach lessons, I disagree that snapping is how you should learn, in that setting at least.
