Gabrielle Union launches her own hair-care line “Flawless, By Gabrielle Union”. Being the beautiful Blacktress that she is, Gab has been offered endorsements in the past, but never said yes to any of them. Instead, Gabrielle created her own brand, a brand she trusts wholly. Flawless will be out April 16 at Ulta Beauty.

Gabrielle Union On Flawless;

“It makes me work a lot harder than if I was just a hired gun. I want to make sure that it’s right for me, for my family, for my friends, and for every person with textured hair. I want to have a seat at the table, and part of that is having ownership.”

It’s rare for Black Actresses to create brands they own, not because they’re not capable, but because it simply doesn’t happen often. This is truly a moment of historic praise for Gabrielle.

If Flawless is truly helpful and successful it could change the direction of Black hair-care owners, beauty markets, and became the new Dark and Lovely, or simply adding to the expanding of such.

As a beautiful actress with a hugely successful tv show, Gabrielle is truly making her mark in the industry and providing a space for women of colour to understand they too can exist in. It seems like Tyra, and Angela and now Gabby are making a statement. We are here!
