Actress, writer, and producer Issa Rae is adding another title to her long list of talents, Covergirl! The two announced September 12th that the iNSECURE creator is the new face of Covergirl. A huge win for the self-proclaimed Awkward Black Girl who never dreamed she’d be the face of a huge brand.

Movie offer, endorsement offers, major interviews and platforms want her, Issa is the new it girl, and she deserves every minute of it. A hard working producer, Issa used Youtube and her production company Issa Rae Productions to put others on, including herself, and she’s still doing it!
