Fantasia performed “Precious Lord” at Aretha Franklin’s homegoing/funeral service and brought the entire audience to their feet! Known for her brassy voice and powerful vocal ability, it was not shocking that Fantasia delivered us to the angels, however, when everyone rose, the chills from the tip of your toe nail, to the top of your head could not be stopped!

Fantasia delivered what everyone needed to grieve the Queen of Soul, she gave us, her legacy, her influence, and a strong reminder of what happens when you put your soul into what you do, you inspire! Fantasia is an example of the hard work and dedication Aretha Franklin put into philanthropy, musicianship, and soul.
When Fantasia took her shoes off, everyone in the building, even those new to this tradition, knew what time it was. It was time to transcend!
