Tyler Perry took to instagram to join in on the fun after a video of a-look-alike Madea surfaced at Howards homecoming, Perry says, it’s not him. The impersonator @Howard_Madea often dresses as Madea at games, and on Instagram, but never before has Tyler posted him, until today.
Kind hearted and fun spirited, Tyler posted the clip via his instagram with the caption reading; “THAT AIN’T ME BUT I’M HERE FOR IT!! FakeNewsMadea got HOWARD LIT!! Now I need all y’all to go see Nobody’s Fool. Lite that theater up.” Fake News Madea could very well catch on, and if Tyler ever wanted to do a comedy bit in an upcoming Madea movie, he already knows where to look!
People who were unaware of this tradition at Howard, actually thought the faux madea was Tyler Perry, and sadly, still do! Ha! Whelp, It’s always a great time to promote your new film, ha!
